My first post had to be on why I call the blog Questionabletaktix. Well apparently a friend of mine was generous enough to give me the complete Asterix collection and the influence of reading nothing else but that shows!! Well trust me there is no other reason. The name just popped in and I wanted it to sound as gaulish(sic) as it possibly could.
Man I am in love with them gauls. Really cute lil’ people. I remember reading abt them when I was 10/11 but I never really got any of the puns, the word play, nothing. I remember laughing though. I wonder why? Maybe all the thrashing the Romans get, tickled my funny bone.
I don’t know why but I feel rather sad that Obelisk gets left outta the title to the series. Maybe it has to do with the bulk we share. Yeah, I’d be lugging menhirs too if it weren’t for my education.
Well more Asterix … or should I say Asterix and Obelisk … nah .. Obelisk and Asterix … actually Obelisk sounds good.
Er … yeah … as I was saying “More Obelisk commentary coming ur way soon!!”
Otherwise, this blog(as most blogs are) is pretty useless and is just to keep me from chewing my arm up outta boredom
